While many things stay the same over time, many things also change and this team and game is no different.
The Zone, after many years has closed as we all know it, bringing sadness to many. But the game continues. 17th August 2006 saw the 10yr Anniversary of MTM and this has been marked with a month of tournaments in MTM2, Nostalgia Championship Series 2006.
JumpinJohn was, is and will always be founder and boss. In his absence, the Revival Team has taken over the reins to bring the team back up. We run a democracy here at Team Old, everything is decided in voting by all members. The Revival Team will bring to finalisation any issues that, after a reasonable amount of time, are not ended. You still will not find tryouts on this team, our members much preferring to judge prospective members on their ability to get along with the rest of the team, their maturity, their love of the games and their sportsmanship.
Comradship, fairness, respect and communication is what you will find here.

HISTORY:
I wont repeat what has been said on the page about our Founder, OLD_JumpinJohn but will carry on the story...
From its humble beginnings in 1997/98 in the mind of our Founder, to its first member coming on board, OLD_CrewCab on 5/2/99, Team Old grew very fast. JJ and the Charter Members of OLD, (OLD_JFB98 (Coach) ,OLD_RacinNut, OLD_B-Rad, OLD_XtreemDan, OLD_TacomaDude) could have had no idea how fast this international team would grow. In its early stages growing to well over 50 members, quickly becoming one of the largest racing teams on the zone. Mostly playing Monster Truck Madness 2 by Microsoft/TRI and Motocross Madness 2 by Microsoft/Rainbow Studios.
Many of the members had some real past racing experience in motocross, others stock-cars, off-road Baja trucks, Bicycles, go-carts, and even RC's (remote controls). Members were at least 30yrs of age.
OLD_CrewCab- 1st Member
The team spent many years of fun gaming until real life issues for many stepped in. Members were at least 30yrs of age, there was talk of lowering this age limit to ensure the future of the team. That voting process was never finalised. Revival Team & Members have agreed, that while mostly keeping this original idea of Johns first and foremost in our minds, there will be special times that this will be relaxed to cover some gamers not yet attaining that age however having the maturity of someone that age. This is to hopefully ensure the continued future of Team OLD.
THE REVIVAL:
Two OLD members have continued to carry on the Old name the past few years - Evil and Mumhra. In the 6 months prior to Aug '06 this dwindled to one in MTM - Mumhra, Original member Tonka who was now gaming in Evolution 4x4 , together with friends Jammer and TropicStorm approached Mumhra and Evil about bringing the team into Evo. This meeting, together with numerous emails to track down our founder, has resulted in keeping JJ's dream alive and Team OLD rising again on 11th August 2006.
Enter the Revival Team:
OLD_Evil, OLD_Mumhra, OLD_Jammer, OLD_Tonka, OLD_TropicStorm.
Each member of this team is filling a specific role ~ Mumhra and Jammer concentrating on revival in MTM2; Tonka (an original member of OLD) and Jammer concentrating on Evolution 4x4; and TropicStorm concentrating on resurrecting the website and forums and running admin backup to all of the Revival Team. Evil retired from the Revival Team; being listed as inactive on 6.10.07; We thank you Evil for your much needed input while getting this team back on its feet and pray the future sees you return when you can.

OLD_WhiteFang was quickly recruited, a bright and talented young man, team OLD's future looks bright. OLD_Charles, who brings a wealth of knowledge and talent to the racing side.
OLD_Rockman, an extremely talented track and truck maker.
Most recently the exciting Jedi offroaders OLD_Gorilla and OLD_MacRobby from the game of Evo 4x4
With these members OLD rises again and we look forward to the future.
